Feedback notes:
> What is working:
. Over the two iterations, the text and image work effectively by offering a moment of surprise.
. Bringing the ‘unwrapping’ concepts into real life.
. Conversion between first and second iterations leads to the idea of texture and object
> What is not working:
. Since it’s difficult to frottage all surfaces of real objects (sense of volume), the map of the second iterations might represent ‘unwrapping’ in real-life weakly.
. Is it just one similar way of unwrapping in real life as first iterations?
. Since I brought philosophical references more than practical references, what if it makes the whole idea and process to difficult?
> For the further projects:
. How about applying this frottaged texture to previous 3d objects?
. How about mapping the room with frottaged fragments? Bring the 2d images into real 3d space again.
. Find another unwrapping medium to extend the meaning of ‘unwrapping’ and ‘folding’
. Enquiry on the relationship between computer graphics and human frottaged images.
